Apartment house in Liepaja, Latvia
The existing situation – a big land lot with the existing wooden building from the begining of 20th century in the corner.
A task – to locate apr. 40 apartments with car parking, respecting the nature of the existing housing – generaly spaced rhythm of sepparate buildings. Such is a proposal, two new buildings are designed and re-designed the third – existing.
Car parking is located below the all three buildings. Architectural language is simple – traditional building shape with asceticof the contemporary style.
