Courtyard Improvement in Liepaja
A tender design is elaborated for a courtyard of apartment buildings in Liepaja. As a design leitmotif there are presence of natural elements in inner block and the establishment of widest possible area for the resident leisure at natural conditions environment.
The courtyard landscape nature is intended significantly different from the surrounding urbanized areas - natural substance dominates over paved areas and urban elements.
In passive recreation area plants of ornamental shrubs and perennials plantations grasses permeates zigzag paths where are located recreational areas with benches, surrounded by plants. Greenery assortment of selected plant species ensures color turn during different seasons. In areas of active recreation usual hard pavement areas are reduced and re-placed by the reinforced lawn, suitable for walking, sitting and plays.
