School courtyard Improvement
School yard improvement design is developed and implemented in 2014. Courtyard area of just over 1,500 m2 is divided into several functional areas, related to the school`s life. Students main benefits are a modern playground, streetball playground and open-air green class. A small place also is provided for employee parking.
Improvement composition is based on the existing functional situation and school building`s facade division. Location of planting beds and benches corresponds with the rhythm of window openings and entrance placement of the school building. Concrete paving in two colors is used for walkways, a children's area is covered by rubber cover, but around the historical school building is used a natural stone pavement.
In green areas is planted a lawn, trees and flower plantations groups, suitable for a small courtyard area. Woody tonally composed in green shades, flower colors withheld subtle hues of white, pink, purple, blue, and blue.
