Walkway at Seaside Park, Liepaja
Construction of a new walkway at Seaside Park in Liepaja was done to ensure a possibility to access the observation deck in the park terrain elevation for people in a wheelchair.
The new 60m long pedestrian walkway integrates in the existing structure of the park paths and with minimal gradients allows to overcome the total height difference of 1.95m. Lane compositionally consists of two downhill paths with resting place between them. The longest stage comprises four 6 m long ramps with a slope of 5%. Shortest stage includes two 4 m long ramps with a slope of 7%.
