Reconstruction of the building into an office at Mālu street 30, Riga

The sketch design for the reconstruction of the building into an office for the purposes of JSC "Dzintars" cosmetics factory was developed for participation in an open tender. The spatial composition of the office is based on the adaptation of a large building volume of the existing production plant to the function of the office with lighted rooms, providing a bright, covered atrium in the center of the building.

Office spaces and production exhibition and representation rooms are located on four floors around this courtyard. Stairs and gallery railings painted in bright colors were designed as the central accent and spatially unifying concept. The concept of building facades and interior design was, of course, based on a light and attractive "cosmetic" note at the level of feelings and associations.
