Reconstruction of the building in Ventspils

The building is located in the historical center of Ventspils at Kuldīgas Street 4. The reconstruction design envisages harmonization of the building volumes by changing the later roof constructions and combining them into one roof construction, as well as preserving all the historically valuable substance that still remains in the building - masonry and wooden parts of the building built at different times, wooden windows and the main entrance door, cladding of existing facade boards, cornice elements and other details.

The function of the building after the reconstruction will be a Day center for people with special needs. The new function also requires appropriate alterations to the existing layout, so a new extension to the entrance and elevator has been designed on the courtyard side, to ensure environmental accessibility throughout the building.
